UP Police SI Exam Selection Process

The UP Police SI Exam Selection Process is mainly divided into three parts. To become UP Police SI, the candidates have to go through the steps given below. Only after this the candidate will be given appointment.

1. Online Written Examination.
2. Documentation and Physical Standard Test (PST).
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Online Written Test Program

The online written test will be of 160 questions. All questions are of multiple choice type. 2.5 marks are set for a question. The written examination will be a total of 400 marks. Candidates will be given 2 hours to solve 160 questions. There will be no negative marking in the written test. The written test will be in both Hindi and English languages. Candidates can answer in the language which the candidate feels is right.

Four papers of written examination will have to bring a minimum of 200 marks, but for passing in a subject, 35 marks will be required. Candidates must have to obtain overall 200 marks & 35% marks in each subject to qualify in written test.
